A shirt defined by its cloth. This pure cotton plissé is woven in Italy, with fine ribs drawn through the fabric so the black always has depth: light catches each line and releases it as the shirt moves.
The yarn is dyed before it is woven, so the colour runs through every thread. Spun fine and woven light, the cloth rests easily on the body, while the ribs lend it a quiet architecture.
Dark grey mother-of-pearl buttons are the only ornament, each holding a trace of smoke and silver against the black. A classic point collar, button cuffs and a curved hem complete the piece.
