Our Story
Built on
restraint.
Defined
by craft.
Rizvol was not born from a trend. It was born from a refusal to settle for clothing that doesn't last, doesn't feel, and doesn't mean anything.
Artistry Beyond Time
The Founding Belief
India didn't discover luxury.
India invented it.
Long before Paris had a fashion week, India had Varanasi silk weavers who took three months to complete a single sari. Before Switzerland made watches, India had artisans who engraved 300 motifs into a single jewel. The finest muslin on earth so sheer it was called woven air — was spun on Indian looms and traded across the ancient world.
India didn't borrow luxury from the world. The world borrowed luxury from India.
Rizvol was founded on a single conviction: it is time to reclaim that. To build a luxury brand that is undeniably Indian not in its motifs or its marketing, but in its mastery. To prove to the world, and to India itself, that the finest clothing on earth can be conceived, crafted, and led by Indian hands.
This is not nostalgia. This is not heritage for heritage's sake. This is a declaration that Indian luxury does not need to explain itself to anyone, borrow credibility from elsewhere, or wait to be discovered. It already was.
Abhishek Shah, Founder — Rizvol
"The finest muslin ever woven was called woven air. It was Indian. Everything Rizvol makes carries that lineage."
Founder
"Dressing is not self-expression. It is self-knowledge."
— Abhishek Shah
The Beginning
Conceived across
three cities.
Built for one intention.
In the ateliers of Milan, the canal-side boutiques of Amsterdam, and the quiet avenues of New York — Abhishek Shah was paying attention. Not to trends. To what lasts.
Raised in India, educated in California and New York, his relationship with craft began at home watching his father treat dressing as an act of quiet dignity. That image never left him.
In 2024, he and his wife Rosa founded Rizvol. Not to enter the fashion industry but to offer an alternative to it. An alternative built on the finest fabrics sourced from across the world and the absolute belief that a garment should outlive the season it was made for.
The Name
Italian — the cuff of a garment
The detail most people never think about. The part of a garment only the wearer and the tailor ever truly see.
We believe real craft lives in the places that don't get photographed. The inner seam as considered as the outer. The thread count chosen for how it feels, not how it looks. The button sourced from Japan because nothing else was good enough.
This is the philosophy behind every piece we make. Not artistry for applause. Artistry beyond time.
The People Behind Rizvol
Small Team.
One obsession.
Every decision at Rizvol passes through one question: does this reflect the brand we are building?
Raised in India, shaped by California and New York, and quietly transformed by Milan, Abhishek has spent decades studying how clothes carry meaning. A cultural observer before he was a founder, he built Rizvol not to make fashion, but to resist the version of it that had stopped meaning anything.
He oversees every creative decision at Rizvol, from sourcing the world's finest fabrics to the final construction standard of each garment in India.
Rosa co-founded Rizvol with Abhishek in 2024, bringing an eye for aesthetic coherence and a belief that a brand's visual and emotional language must be as considered as its garments.
She ensures that everything Rizvol puts into the world, from packaging to photography, carries the same quiet intention as the clothes themselves. If Abhishek asks whether it's well made, Rosa asks whether it's honest.
Raised between two worlds, Milan and India, Zohar has spent his career studying how design carries culture. He came to Rizvol not to apply a style, but to build a visual language that had never existed before: Indian luxury that answers to no one else's definition of it.
As Head of Design, he leads every collection from first sketch to final fit. His standard is simple, make something you would still want to wear in twenty years.
